The Answer is simple, you are too young to take supplements. At your age, your body is still growing and supplementing non-FDA approved products can actually hurt or stunt your growth. The best advice I can give you is to eat healthy, a diet rich in protein, carbohydrates, fruits and vegetables. Hope this helps!

Body Fortress Muscle and Weight Gainer form Holland and Barrett Health food shops is very good, and not too pricy either (it is reduced right now). Also Creatine capsules / powder are excellent (also on offer), to be taken before and after each workout.
I suggest mixing the Weight Gainer with soya milk and not dairy milk, otherwise it can be very constipating. Also it may sound grim, but the strawberry flavour is by far the best- the chocolate and vanilla are too sweet and sickly.

I recommend that you get yourself a copy of 'Muscle & Fitness' magazine. This always has articles covering diets for beginners. Alternatively, invest in a good book like Arnold Swartzenegger's 'Education of a Bodybuilder' or his 'Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding'.
To Answer your question though, you need to understand that the most important thing is to follow a properly balanced diet of carbohydrates & protein. You need to eat regular meals - cutting out excessive junk food which just bloats you up.
Supplements are very expensive and they are only designed to 'supplement' what you should get already from your food.
I recommend you:
1. Drink lots of Milk. It contains high protein for muscle growth
2. Eat plenty eggs - especially the egg whites - again this is pure protein.
If you must buy a supplement right now, I recommend you get a tub of Whey Protein. Protein is the cornerstone for building your muscle size. You can get it from any large chemists, Health shops.
