Blood type doesn't factor into the equation. Some sperm are X, others are Y. All men regardless of blood type produce both. First one to the egg wins. Root for the Y's if your want a boy.

Sex is determined by 2 chromosomes. One from mom & one from dad. A female is determined by 2 "X" chromosomes (XX) & a male by one "X" & one "Y" (XY). Mom is female & only has an "X" to pass along to a child. Dad has one of each & depending on which chromosome ("X" OR "Y") fertilizes the egg ( all eggs have "X") will determine the sex of the child - not blood type. You may be confusing the Rh factor (positive or negative) with having a child.

The sex of the baby is determined by the sperm. Some are male sperm and some female. Male sperm swim faster and girl sperm live longer. It's thought that if you have sex right when you're ovulating it will increase the chances of having a boy. If you have sex 24 hourse or so before ovulating it increases the chances of having a girl.
