You can hire the services of a "critter gitter" type of business. They are licensed to live trap nuisance animals and relocate them to remote areas. They are required to use humane trapping methods. They are not terribly expensive and can be found in your local Yellow Pages or in your newspaper classifieds.
Good luck with your problem.

When your yard is dry, sprinkle granulated Dursban on your lawn. It doesn't have to be a heavy application. There is something in the Dursban that is very irritating to the armadillo. Lightly applied, the Dursban should have no lasting effect on the critter.
