Hi
I need big sizes in my uniforms too, so I am also assuming you live in the uk.
Now the place I have had best success with as been a company called alexandras.. there is one in most cities of the uk, I would advise phoneing them up.
here is the website
http://www.alexandra.co.uk/
I have never ordered off the website and I am not sure what size they go upto on the web so you could check but if you ring them up and they have not got that size in they will order it in for you within 7 days.
If american, here is the website but not sure on other details. I do know the uk one orders them in, as they do it for me. They also have a catologue.

there are lots of different companies that make hair & beauty uniforms.
my first choice would be La Beeby.
we use this company to supply our hair & beauty students (i teach in a colllege).
they have excellent service, good price, nice uniforms.
i have just had a quick look on their website & they do go up to a size 32 - also there is currently 10% discount on all online orders (they usually delivery very quickly)
the other companies that do uniforms, are florence roby, inline, figaro, buttercups. but they are a lot more expensive.
Hope this helps

Here are some on line stores that cater to plus sizes. I noticed that some of them have smocks and tunics. You can order off online or you can request a catalogue to be sent to your home.
Roamans
Jessica of London
Brylane catalog
La Redoute
Just put these names in your search like this
(Roamans, shopping)
Good luck in coz school!

Try going a "Sally Beauty Supply" or other beauty supply store. If all else fails she can go into a beauty shop and ask where they get theirs.
