I don't know how long it's been but it took me about a month of doing nothing and being depressed before I realized that I didn't need him and that there was no reason for me to be all bummed out because of him. He was probably out there with some other girl while I was at home being upset over him. Of course, he cheated on me several times and I found out he had done it the whole 2 years we were together, so it kind of pushed me to get over him more quickly! What I did was I started dating, even though I really didn't feel like doing it. I actually helped me. About 3 months later and 2 guys later I started dating a guy I've known my whole life. 2 years later we got married. So, I would not change one thing about my past. In fact, now when I look back on it I wish my first serious relationship would've ended sooner so I could've been with my husband longer. Everything happens for a reason. You may not see it now but one day you will look back and realize that all your broken hearts lead you straight to where your suppose to be.

You can and will move on, you are in control of yourself, stop messing up your mind, and worrying about someone who is out of your life, you are giving them too much power over you. You need to go out and move in different circles, get involved in a class, or volunteer at a hospital, The next time be friends for a while, so you can get to know a person. So be strong, and take yourself out of this rot!!

Get outside of your head by going out and about where there are alot of people your age and mingle. I'm not saying this will make you
forget him right away but you will eventually meet someone if you make yourself available. Oh yeah and always remember that you do not need another person to complete yourself.

By putting away any personal things you have that remind you of him, if he lived with you move the furniture around differently, take pictures down and put them away.
Then you get a hobby, start going out more with friends and filling your time, keeping your mind occupied.
In time, it gets easier. But it's going to take a while.

if you cant forget him, start doing stuff that doesn't involve the stuff you did with him. Anyway, try a good start with someone else. Note: If he just says your cute or something he maybe bad, real bad. And sometimes you just have to avoid him, that's what I do when I'm near my crush.

you need to start getting involved in other things to take your mind off of that person. it'll be awhile but in a few months you'll see that you only think of them once and awhile.
