sure love can mean many things even though used in different context. like.......
Man: I love you dude
friend: uhhhhhhhh
or
Man: I love you honey
Wife: I love you too
and even
Me: I love teddy bears
Teddy Bear: *sits still quietly*
Just depends on how you use it

i would say yes, simply for the fact that if you tell someone that you love them or someone tell you that they are in love with you sooner or later you are gonna want to see them prove it or maybe prove it to them. words alone won't do.
