Al-Jazeera has favor with terrorists because they sympathize with them.

First, they set up the news channel as a their own propaganda unit, like the CIA has done with Al Jazeera. Then they make a fake video, like the CIA has done with the Bin Laden tapes, and the tapes of planes flying into towers.

There are people who own these companies. Theyre not government secured channels, so theyre open to all sorts of... information.
Reporters survive in the business by having their own personal contacts. Thats where they get these videos.
Beyond that, the government gets some, and releases them to the public, and also, most terrorist groups post videos on their web pages where they can be seen and downloaded for distribution by the media.
