Put fans in the windows to suck in a move fresh air. Close curtains on the sunny side of the house to help keep out heat. Drink slushies. Go swimming.

Keep your doors and windows open until the outside temperature becomes higher than the inside. Then close everything up, and keep all the shades closed, especially on the sun side of the home. Get a floor fan and place a large bowl of ice cubes in front of it. Try to get several fans for some cross circulation as well. It's not as good as AC but it helps.

Wet wraps are a good way to beat the heat...Walmart Carry's them ..They are like a bandanna...Put in cool water then in freezer .Put it around your neck ... I wear mine to mow lawn ..Any work out in the heat...They are in sporting goods dept... Different designs and colors...I keep my in freezer ready to go...And if ya have a box fan would help out alot too! Take care..Thanks

This may sound crazy, but it actually works! Mom does it and I tried it and it works. Take an ice cube and rub it on top of your head and let it melt. You will feel some cooler!

you can try swimming or run a large tub of cold water and just lay there, and think of nothing.
