the late 70s early 80s had to be the best time in club football as the European cup lived in England for 6 yrs ,Liverpool 3 times forest twice and Aston villa once , that was the leagues best time . clubs are different rangers or Celtic with 9 consecutive championships in Scotland , but in England arsenal in the thirty's under H Chapman ,man u the busby babes air disaster then champs of europe liverpool in the 80s ,your question your choice , because thats just a few

The best football time in Great Britain is during the close season, when all the overpaid ignoramus's that have not enough brain cells to do anything more worthwhile, are swanning around in places that will ensure they and their empty-headed wives & girlfriends will get their pictures in the even more vaccuous "celebrity" rags!
Footballers have the lowest skill level of any sportspeople, yet get adored as if they had some skill! If Alonso drove like Beckham kicks, he would spend most of the race watching from his crashed car!
