Reformat your hard drive to erase all data and reinstall your operating system such as Windows
If you are using XP you should put in your XP disc and there is an option to boot from the cd and reformat
Make sure you know all of your drivers to re-install.

That's really a big comitment in time and effort. The same "bugs" could resurface withoout some preventative work.
You could try a few things first. Go to Control Panle and Add Remove Programs and uninstall any free software downloaded from the Internet, including all screensavers! Uninstall anything called system mechanic or similar maintenece utilities - they are not necessary and often cause problems.
Reboot.
Open a command prompt by clicking Start>Run and typing "cmd" in the box - click Ok
Now type "chkdsk /R" at the prompt and let it run.
Reboot.
Download Windows Defender from www.microsoft.com and run it. Let it kep running and it will auto update and load at boot.
Reboot.
If it's runing better you might be ok, but it would be best to have a fresh or newly updated anti virus program installed from a large name like McAfee or Norton, ect.
Next, go to Windows update and choose the express option and let it run all night. There are some important updates here.
This sounds like a lot, but it could be easier than trying to reinstall a lot of applications after installing the operating system....

reformatting will delete ALL your files and even your operating system. before doing this, be sure to have all your discs (your windows disc, your motherboard's disc, etc.) you will need to re install everything after reformatting. so you will need to back up first all important files before you do reformat.
have you tried "system restore"? in XP, its in start>help>undo changes to your computer with system restore....... it will restore your computer settings from a previous date.... i recommend you do this first before really opting to reformat your pc

Re formatting your computer deletes everythin. that includes OS, your work, all the important data. So please be carefull......U have to reinstall everything including your Operating system.
Its better to find that bug that u didnt mentioned and remove that bug. Try norton system utilities, antispywares, and antiviruses.
Thats the better option.

It wipes out everything on your disk drive. You have to reinstall all from scratch.
Sure you want to do this?
Have fun but be safe!
