what is the supposed relation of the shark in JAws 2, to the shark in the original?

in the jaws 2 novella the shark was female so i suppose it the daughter

The shark in the first 1 name was Bruce according to Speilberg....but in Peter Benchly's book its decribed as one big mother...

I think the original one was the 2nd ones mother...but then again that could have been the movie "Orca"
