Some games prefer to be run from the CD and just install a few files when you first run the disc, as copying the game across to your hard drive can soon eat up space!

But if it really is an issue for you and you just want to be able to play the game without putting the disc in each time, just follow the instructions given by someone above me.

Good luck!

The CD is running in auto run i.e the CD is made to play directly as you insert it into your CD drive.

This does not mean that your PC has it installed on your PC but the CD has been modified to play as soon as it is inserted into the drive.

If you want to install the game just exit the game but dont remove the CD you can move to My computers-CD drive, there you will see an icon "setup" click that icon and follow the instruction. this is the only way to install a CD.

Have a nice day

Your game has what is called an "Autorun" feature. This lets you play the game without installing it.

If you do really want to install it just cancel out of that window.
Click on the "My Computer" icon. You will see a list of drives on your computer.

One of them will be the drive you have your CD in.
Right click on it. From the drop down menu click on "Explore".
You now will see a list of programs on that disk.
Click on 'Setup", or "Install" and follow the directions.

hey you might have before installed the game, and have deleted the files instead of uninstalling it. i don't know how to fix that but, you could uninstall it from add/remove programzz and reinstall it.

also some cheap games collide in the registry with other games, that is, when you install a game, and then keep it and install another, the other one sees the registry values for the game as, uh, full. i mean it basically thinks the game is installed. that i definitely don't know how to fix
