I agree, it not really strong enough for a pint, perhaps a small brace that drops down would help. I mean they know they aren't that strong as they've put a spare one on my PC.

To the guy above me, you have to buy one of these cases: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811129140 They have 4 slots for mounting the cupholders. Then, you just put one cupholder in the top slot, and one in the bottom. That's what I did.
Also, you'd think they would make them where the cup holder stayed OUT all the time. It sure makes a mess, if you forget that it's going to retract every time you turn off or restart the computer.
Oh, and why in the world did they make the buttons so small on the foot pedal? I have to take my shoe off, to be able to right-click!!

I have 2 and they are so badly designed that when I press the button to open the top one it knocks the cup off the lower one/. Sure makes a mess.
