It really depends on what you want, to be honest. I would warn you against choosing a school based on the reputation of a department because those ratings are usually for the graduate program and you won't really get much from that. Also, undergraduates change their mind all the time so you might no longer be interested in the department that you applied to the school for. Better to look at the options they have at the school for you, and what kind of reputation the school as a whole has, since that's what you'll be using with an undergraduate degree (whereas a graduate degree uses the reputation of the department).

Where do you live? In the UK, it's Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, Imperial or UCL. In America, it would probably be one of the Ivy League schools.

apply to the college which has the best reputation for your subject. eg Sports Science would be Loughborough.
