At what point in time does the success of Iraq become the responsibiltiy of the citizens of Iraq ???
At some point in time America must allow Iraq to simply sink or swim....What is the matter with the Islamic psyche that they cannot govern themselves in a democratic manner ?
Are they incapable of self rule except under some form of authoritarian dictatorship ?

What makes you think Iraq will collapse? Or if you think they already have, then why can't you see what we ARE doing, ie, supporting them until they can stand on their own against the terrorists? A little common sense can go a long way.

This is only your uninformed judgement. There is no evidence that the country will collapse. Yes, there appears to be sectarian violence but soldiers reporting back from Iraq have been saying that it's really the equivalent of "gang-bangers"...not sectarian violence.

American tax payers are now paying for a ditch around Baghdad in Iraq. We also pay for all free health care there. When we leave we are going to take the ditch with us.
