I started to say that I never break promises, becoming quite indignant at the thought. But, then I began to think, I do break promises to myself to do this task or that or to journal or to work on creative projects. Then I get to the end of the day disgusted with my self for not doing the things I promised myself. Good question!

Seldom any. I apply myself as diligently as I can to keep my word. Hence the Honorbright. It is the voice of a promise. Ex. I promise to meet you at 7:00, honorbright.
I promise to keep my word and 'do some of the things' I promised myself when I was a little girl. Example. I noted at about age 5 that most adults seemed only to be parroting responses to me and anothers, as if they were in a dream state. I also noted that at different ages people are 'discounted.' I noted that old people were discounted completely, almost, by other people. I felt 'badly' and tried to picture those elderly people as the children they once were, disguised as old. I felt badly that old people sometimes did not 'see their true souls', because of an old wrapper placed on themselves. I noted that males got one kind of attention and women another kind. I saw that this was mainly again, done in a 'dreamstate' of lower consciousness by others, making reactionary responses to lower level of thought. I promised myself that when I felt myself 'slipping into this state' of lower consciousness, I would remember clues to remind myself to not be another, rather than myself. I also have always been very sensitive to injustice. This is 'why' I am trying to instill 'thought' into people, with the hope that in doing so I might reach sombody that could see past their reactive responses and achieve balance.
This world is way out of whack. The ying and the yang have been corrupted and chaos results. Perhaps there needs be another imbalance in the opposite direction? It is open for debate, but could be.
Honorbright.

I tend to sort of fly by the seat of my pants so anytime I say I'll be somewhere at a specific time, I usually am late.
It doesn't mean I don't care, it's just who I am.
I don't make promises to be on time anymore because then I would break them more times in a day than I could count.

I always promise to not be so mean but I usually break it at least once. I learned not to make promises I could not keep to other people becuase I do not like to make ammends for not keeping my word. But I truly believe that the hardest thing is to break one to myself because I don't hurt anyone but me when I do that.

I no longer make promises, if I can help it, for two reasons; 1) when it's time to fulfill them it's a pain in the butt, and 2) often, because they're a pain, I often break them. Those I'm forced to make, I tend to keep.

I don't break promises...that's one of my biggest things, when I promise something I follow through, no exceptions.

I try never to break my promise and i succeed because when ever any such situation tends to occur i feel guilty and ashamed of myself, so i keep my promise in any condition.
