I was very, very heartbroken. Aeris was such a sweet yet strong young woman, and I never thought she wouldn't make it to the end of the game. I could feel the pain and anguish emminating from the TV screen. Even though the characters weren't real I felt their pain, especially Cloud. I cried when Cloud laid her to rest, and as I resumed playing I held out hope that Aeris would come back to life, but alas it was not to be. Defininety my personal saddest video game moment ever.

I honestly didn't get that upset..I HATED the way she kept trying to come between Cloud and Tifa. Besides, anyone who dies that soon into a video game HAS to play a vital role towards the end which she did

It was tragic, but then again, it was only a game. FF7 was one of the best games though.
