there are a lot of hobbies within music. Mixing songs, playing an instrument, writing music or lyrics, I love my music and use it as an escape too...I play with creating my station on yahoo music and have rated over 5,000 songs so my station is super! I listen to my music while I do my hobbies...I crochet and knit. I have done both for a very long time. It always gives me a gift I can give doilies for weddings, blankets for kids, sweaters for friends and family etc. I also have adult colorbooks and a 120 color set of pencils. I color medieval art, unicorns, Celtic alphabet, pirates etc...it is a blast!

Me personally playing the drums. If you like music and are in search of a hobby, why don't you learn how to play an instrument? Believe me, it's great!

If u love music, then u could start a cd collection of ur fave kind of music or ur fave artist or band, or u can also learn a new instrument like guitar or flute. It's very fun.

Music´s made a huge impact on my life, bcuz its like my escape, it speaks or rather sings words that are in my head but cant say...i just love it.

Music changed my life when I was younger. I learned to play Baritone Horn & Trumpet. Now I cannot wait to pass on this knowledge and love to my son.
Also, writing is fun. Start with a daily journal.

Joined a writing course and have now reached the stage where I am aiming to sell articles to magazines and newspapers, etc. Its fun, rewarding and as long as you are reasonably literate, achievable too!

Amateur (ham) radio ... I've met hundreds of people through it (and even met my husband over 20 years ago that way). It's not hard to get licensed by the FCC and the equipment is not that expensive.

learn to read music,I play violin,but I can read music...which allows me to play other instruments if I know how to make a particular note on the instrument,reading music is good to know.
