ISWD1:
I saw both the question your wife asked and the one you answered. Your wife should expect negative feedback when she stated OD should be automatic for all. I assume she is educated, but that sounded extremely uneducated. No, it should not be automatic. OD is a personal choice. If you die before you receive an organ, then God meant it to be that way. If you do get the organ, again, God wanted you to live. I am not an organ donor. I think instead of trying to get all these people on the bandwagon, people should be wholly educated about the OD process, about how they gut you completely, about how when they say "tissue" donor, no one really knows what that means, but I do. It means they will remove skin. long bones, ribs, etc. I am a funeral director, I have no problem with OD other than they misrepresent themselves. I would venture to say that 97% of the donors families have no clue that they basically butchered and fileted their loved one. And they also don't realize they aren't saving the whole world. People who simply die and then donate, their vital organs (heart, lungs, etc.) aren't used in another person. Only if they are on life support and then harvested can they be used. OD is a touchy subject, but so many people are undereducated about it and that is sad. A family should be completely educated about what is going to happen to their loved one, and without the crap about them not needing them anymore.

Actually, she did not attack you in the email. In the post you answered regarding organ donations, you asked, in capital letters, what she knows about organ donations.
She has worked with the group that is in charge of getting people to sign up to donate organs for years now. She gives talks about it at schools, churches, anywhere they will listen. Your question seemed to be attacking her with your snotty little "Maybe you should study up on it" or whatever it was.
Her reply to you was:
I am a donor. I am signed up to donate the rest of my organs upon death. I know 1670 people in my state of Michigan die each year waiting for organs. I know the law makes it optional. I know I sign up new donors everyday. I know it is a waste to let children die from the families perspective. If you want to challenge everything in the question in public you should put up your email for people to reply.
How is that attacking you exactly? Especially when you asked what she knows about it. A lot more than you, I guarantee that.
Btw, this is her husband, in case you were wondering how I have access to the email she sent you. I don't like people making up lies about my wife when she is doing nothing other than trying to make people more aware of organ donations, in order to save lives. No need to be rude about it.

Many people on this site do that if someone answers a question that disagrees with their opinion (devlsadvoct is great at it). I think they should post their questions with a support statement that says, "please answer this question only if you agree with me." That would save us all a lot of time and hassle.

they don't opt to imagine about something. they have those who will attempt this for them. Liberals like feeling issues, so once you're making them sense stupid through asking them something outdoors their convenience zone, they're going to opt to attack or run away.
