i usually put it on myself. leave the fatter end longer. wrap around twice and put the fat end through the top of the second loop. the tighten by pulling shorter end. you should be able to loosen and tighten it easily.

You will have to get someone to show you I'm afraid, but I remember from school days, to keep holding the emerging knot with one hand as you tie it, and not being able to do it without looking in the mirror.

I don't know how either - but I looked it up on the internet and it gives instructions with diagrams on how to tie several different types of ties!@ www.Tie-a-Tie.net
