ok, this may sound a little confusing! i have recently realised i have strong feeling for my best friend. we are close and he apparently already knew i liked him. only a friend of mine also likes him, she is aware of my feelings to. it has caused a few arguements between this girl and i. he likes both of us but says he doesn't know what he wants. I've said to the female friend that if it turns out he like her more than me, to go for it n not stop because of me hurting, i'm not willing to stop two friends being happy.
however, i cant help hoping that he won't want her. I don't want to have to see them together but care for them both and can't stop myself wanting to separate them. I'm confused and hurt. please help! what do i do?!

Oh you poor thing.......its tough i am sure.....But like you said, you have to leave it to the guy right. If i were you i would try hard to make the guy come over to my side. All is fair in love and war right.

Then again if things don't work out, don;t be sooo hard on yourself....there will surely be better people around and will come into your life. Its not the end. You feeling bad will only show the guy that you desire him...and trust me you don;t want a guy to know that. Move on immediately....life's too short to be obsessed about tthis guy.

By the way if you need someone to talk to.....feel free to drop me a line.

Cheers

At the end of the day it sounds like he doesn't even know what he wants and if this girl is a good friend then its not worth loosing a friendship over an indecisive man. men come and go but good friends are rare and you may only have one or two good ones in your entire life, if its to be it will happen but i think that you should both forget it and stay friends, if you both like him so much your friendship will be affected if one of you date him, the other will be hurt best to move on and forget it keep the friend, and go on in life with the knowledge that men come and go but good friends are hard to find there are enough songs out there that say that it must be right.

You can't control how this guy feels about you or her, so stop trying. You CAN control how you react to your friends feelings and to his feelings. If I were you, I would back off and just be friends with them both. If he comes around to you, so be it...if he doesn't, that's ok too, because he might change his mind after some experience with other girls. I wouldn't lose a good friend over a guy. He's enjoying you two fighting over him; so just back off and play like it doesn't matter. Godloveya.

Don't do it. If it don't work out you will loose a friend and a boyfriend. If you two just have sex it will be awkward looking at each other the next day. What y'all use to talk about will become jealousy.

Friends are more important than a bloke, what if you get together and it doesn't last but you loose your friendship. Think about what is more important to you and follow your heart.

You are in a no win situation Hun.
You will either loose a bloke (that can be replaced) or a good friend.
You choose...... XX

Go on then, let her have him...............then spend the rest of your life regretting your decision. Don't be daft Lilypants, make a determined effort to win him and see if she is as generous to you as you intended to be to her.

"he doesn't know what he wants"
there is the problem.
he is saying he can't choose between you two.
that should be enough reason to be careful of your feelings.
