My middle daughter started out as twins and my husband would joke about it, until now that's the only pregnancy he's ever said that about and he was right. We just found we are expecting #4 and he swears up and down it's twins! He kisses my stomach twice everytime he leaves so that "each one" knows he loves them. So I don't know, I firmly believe some people just know. Most of the time if you listen to your intuition you're probably right.

I'm not a mom of twins, but my children are as close in age as kids can be without being twins (10 1/2 months). I felt the need to answer your question because even as I child, I knew I'd have two girls in succession, almost like twins.

I am a twin but there never has been any other twins in my family that i know of or that my parents know of. My mom was happy to get twins. They are double the joy. Twins are happier than single children. My twin sister and I were so happy and we are happy to have each other still.

I belong to a twins group, and we get questions like this one quite often. It seems like most of the people who ask it do not end up having twins.

Also not a mom of twins, but am the child of a twin. My ex-husband has twins and triplets in his family, but both of my pregnancies resulted in single births. I did dream my daughters name.
