Half steps, as always in a major scale, between scale steps 2-3 and 7-8 (in B flat, between D-E flat and A-B flat). Half steps, as I'm sure you know, are where fingers are close together.
2 octave B flat major scale:
FIRST OCTAVE:
Low 2 on G, C3, open D, E flat (low 1), F natural, G, A, B flat (low 1)
SECOND OCTAVE:
B flat (low 1), C natural, D, E flat (low 4th finger - you can't play open E since B flat major has two flats, B flat and E flat), F natural (low 1), G, A, B flat.

Try posting this one in the music section, dear. The folks here is P & S are goofy and proud of it. Your question won't garner any real attention. Good luck!
