If you're talking about who's the best at being pompous, it would have to be the British.
If you're talking about who is most ready to help the British defend their country - that would be the Americans. If you're talking about who is most ready to help the Brits rebuild their country - that too would be the Americans. Remember, the English are just a hop, skip, and a jump from the French - in more ways than one.

Boy that's a loaded question. The Americans will say Americans are and the British will say the British people are. Who really cares. We're all just pretty cool I think.

British chocolate and British tea is the best. The Beatles were the best.
American food is the best. American climate is the best, according to my British friends.
TV? That's a toss up.
Employment practices? The Brits have a bank holiday it seems every other week, plus socialized medicine.
Both countries have things that are the best.

I am an American, I appreciate our British people for helping us IN IRAQ, Plus the Australians, & everyone that has helped us with the war on terror. We all are human beings, We all have our own national cultures, So lets not try to pit one against the other. America is a wonderful nation to live in, But since they have taken God out of the schools, This nation has gone downhill away from God. I am proud to be an American. So are the other people proud to be a citizen of their own country.

The British we kick A.S.S and we have a more prestigious background with a richer culture. We also have a national health service too, people here complain about it but they would complain even more if the had to pay for it wouldn't they.
