I would have to say the best match was the WC final, was so nerve wrentching. I also like the Argentina/Serbia game, 6-0!
I don't really have a favourite player yet...lol
I have many favourite teams, but I love Argentina and Italy. I think Portugal, Germany and Brazil are good teams as well.

Just ignore such people. They dont realize that the world cup is not a small thing. They are probably not even true football fans. This will continue till 2010............

Before you go into a rage, consider this simple thing.
This category is about the World CUp. Yes, it's over but some of you still want to talk.
Yes, it is fine. There are many things to talk about the cup. Go ahead talk about all 64 games, certain events etc. No harm
But have you notice what I notice?
People here, yourself included, have turned this into a personal forum, talking abt silly things like what you think of this guy or this girl in the forum.
People insulting each other. Others like mimi, touzours, juventinna, ro35 and many more, i can recall all names. what do you people talk abt?
Eg: Why is it s quiet here, we have a fictional match involving everyone here, have a party, talking abt so many irrelevant things.
Why is this wrong? The rules state that this is not for personal chatting or points gaming. I think all this lus the insults can be classified as such.
That what sparks all this rubbish here.
Then people get angry and write in caps. Isn't this rude? And it gets worse, I read of pakis, french italians etc, why?
You guys want to talk abt the world cup, talk, talk abt international teams, talk since there is no euro or s america catergory. Talk abt your favourite game, players, go ahead.
But stop making this into your own forum. If you all wanna chat, go to messenger or msn or join many football forums on the net.
If everyone just stuck the football and if you were here during the world cup, you realised that it was only truly abt the world cup.
But some of you have turned this into a personal site challenging others.
if everyone just stopped and thinked abt what they are doing, and on their own part, just tried to change, sooner rather than later, everyone else will follow suit and talk abt football.
making politics comments or whatever, go to the correct category.
I don't write much, just read, message some people etc, but i observe.
So lets all start anew, afresh, let you take the first step and encourage all your friends to follow suit. In 1 week, i think things will back to the world cup time when people only talked football here.

Listen...World Cup ended 3 months ago. Soccer does not revolve around the World Cup. World Cup is over....Italy is the champion ...end of the story. True soccer fans are not obsessed with World Cup. Brasilian League, EPL, Serie-A, UEFA championship, La Liga....people are following these leagues now. May be you are new to the soccer and that's why you can't forget about World Cup. I personally think this FIFA World Cup category should be deleted cos this category was created for the "2006" World Cup which ended long time ago.

I so totally agree!!!! I mean the name of this forum is FIFA WORLD CUP 2006 afterall. If we dont talk abt football then what else should we talk abt. There are some real idiots who come here and annoy us all. U know I always wonder if they dont want to talk abt the wc then why the hell should they come her?????

This is the world cup section and if we want to talk about the World Cup we will.
It's only been two months for Heavens sake!
