I am from Singapore and now temporarily living in PJ in KL.
The room is basically small that can only accomodate a mirror, small table, a mattress, no TV, a small fan, no wardrobe or cupboard to keep in clothes. Trust me, we cannot put anything else. The toilet is being shared by this family that our company rented a room for us to stay.

All of my business clothes and other clothes are packed inside my luggage. There is only a few nails here and there to hang my clothes. And guess what? There are two of us living in that room. If you think you can't please tell me because I am not sure if I can bring the accomodation issue to the HR manager and my lecturer.

By the way, my friend and I are working in KL for attachment purposes, so, is it feasible for us to ask for a better accomodation?

no unless u find a way to make some space.
Go to your boss. im sure hes not that cold blooded.
if the answers no then ask him politely to tell u the budget for the room and let u find a better room if u can.
if its still no then..... keep your mattress in a vertical position durring daytime. at night put ur duty clothes on the nails and before going replace them with the ones ur gonna wear after that.

hope this helps!!!

I think you should bring this up, but since it is only "temporarily living", you might wish to see how things changed say in about a week of so.

Have a couple of pictures taken as that would be interesting to keep for references in the future.

May I know which part of Petaling Jaya you are refering to?
