Nothing is wrong with not wanting children. Many people are brainwashed with the desirability of having them...but other people resist brainwashing in all areas. My oldest sister's first husband just wanted wife and kids to be like the other guys at work. Such a man should just buy a photo of a woman and kids to show to his coworkers. I know the routine. At work, guys discussed their families at coffee break. Some said I would probably soon join them in marital bliss. I told one man that all he did was complain about his marriage, and I didn't need similar aggravation. Dad once gave me recorded lectures about marrying, but neither he nor my coworkers presented any good reasons for it. Really, not many people make good parents, but few realize that.

No, because I am a woman and I don't really want kids. You can't send your kids back to the womb. They belong to you. Most people rather love each other. Most men know more attention would be required for a child. They know a child requires needs(monetary). Some fathers just rather not make the mistake their father had made by not being there.

Not at all. At least you know where you stand with them on the issue. If they don't want the responsibilty of rearing a child then it is a good thing to say so from the start. There are enough unwanted babies in the world today without adding more.

No at least they are being honest about their insecurities.
My brother was the same way all of his life.
His daughter is almost 2 now & the light of his life.
Some will change others won't, accept their honesty.
