According to this weeks TV Guide, the new season begins October 4 at 9:00pm.
The also say it will be divided into "chapters." A six-episode run begins Oct. 4. On NOvember 15, Taye Diggs' new show "Day Break" will come on until February. For February sweeps, Lost will have a 16 episode run.
They say Lost's revised schedule is designed to leave viewers satisfied in the fall and hungry for more in February. They say there will be a big ending in November that will bring you back.
