The Bavarian Alps. There is a palace built by the Mad Swan King of Bavaria, Ludwig II, called Neuschwanstein castle. It looks like the prototype for Mickey Mouse's palace at Disneyland.

I would say ... it is in your heart... if you always look in the bright side then everywhere is beautiful and artistic for you and you got to know your taste as well, vise versa. Before, married, I like to abandon myself into countryside so much. The temples in Kyoto suburb are the most serenity and beautiful in my eyes. The second one is Taipei National Palace Museum cuz I love antiques and arts and I can stay a whole day to gaze few chinese landscape without anyone disturbing...Hahahah.. but it was before married.. hahha

I think the most beautiful palace in the world is Borobudur in Magelang, Indonesia. It's made only from mountain stone, without cement, glue, or something like that.

I have a few choices for first place......
Taj Mahal - in India
The Forbidden City palaces ......
The buildings of Russian tsar Nicolas.......
And the ones in what was known as Cambodia that now lay covered in jungle and are in ruin......Ankor Wat......they are my favorite..

that's complicated, because we all have our own standard of 'beautiful'
but for me.. it might be:
- colosseum, rome
- borobudur
- taj mahal
- China.. Never been to China? That means, you hadn't seen the world
