Has anyone heard about any up and coming "lasers" or anything like that for stretch marks?

Aren't there some pretty good creams these days? You might be surprised by what is in your local drugstore.

Prevention and excellent nutrition are still the only real "treatments" for skin stretch marks.

Stretch marks are where the skin has "shredded" or pulled it layers and tissues apart because it could not expand fast enough or large enough for the expansion of the body whether due to weight gain or pregnancy. Once the skin is "shredded" in this way nothing short of surgically removing the "shredded" section of skin can make it go away.

Excellent high quality balanced nutrition and avoidance of excess weight are the best hopes for getting the stretched skin to thicken somewhat again and quit stretching. A college nutrition text might be helpful to you in formulating a higher quality diet to make sure you have the nutrient balance and the nutrients that help rebuild collagen to support the skin.

Stretch marks are not primarily a cosmetic issue. They are a whole body health issue. Excellent nutrition, proper healthy weight maintenance, and exercise can go a long way toward preventing stretchmarks in the first place, or to preventing additional areas of stretchmarks.
