She has just moved to a new area and is being home-schooled so has not got a lot of opportunities to make friends. We want to find something for her to do where she can have fun and make friends. The only problem is she cannot do any strenuous activity, such as netball as she had a spinal operation in March and still needs to take it easy. Any ideas would be great.

look for groups in the community she can become involved in. Something with charity or something like that. She will make friends that way. She can't be shelted too much or she will never get out there and enjoy life. Good luck.

I would check for activities at the local YMCA for some activities. Also the park board may have some activities as well. Use google for the park board and look it up by the county you live in.
