Tommy Franks,Commander in Chief, United States Central Command.

"What is the worst thing that can happen in our country? A nexus between weapons of mass destruction and terrorism. Second, the western world, the free world, loses what it cherishes most, and that is freedom and liberty we've seen for a couple of hundred years in this grand experiment that we call democracy. If a massive casualty-producing event causes our population to question our own Constitution and we begin to militarize our country we ain't seen nothing yet. If terrorism's sting is felt again, fascism may be its aftermath."

What do you think? Another one and thats the end of it, as Franks suggests?

I agree with him. One of the main events that allowed Hitler to gain absolute power was the Reichstag fire. The fire was blamed on communists. Of course, it was probably started by Nazi party members. But, the fear over the rising number of communists in Europe at that time gave the people of Germany all the reason they needed to relinquish their liberties for the sake of an illusion of safety.

I agree with him. Time has come now to initiate the policy of reconciliation in tandom with taking on terrorists. Some time this madness by terrorists to blow themselves up and display of technological might of destructive weapons by Americans has to stop and people have to return to peaceful talks.

I would take way to long to put a good answer to this question. So I'll just shorten it to maybe, maybe not.
