I am, i don't buy into it at all anymore. i buy food and clothes when i need them & none of it had designer labels. materialism is just empty and boring. i don't know how you are supposed to find lasting happiness through 'stuff'

I was never rich, but I am a third generation "pack rat" & I lost most of my earthly belongings, & almost my life in a REALLY bad divorce & found out that "things" weigh you down. It was hard for me, but when I accepted it, it was like a weight was lifted off of my shoulders.
