I am not physically active, not over weight, but I have very tender shins. When I push on the inner side of my shin bone i get a sever, dull pain on both shins. Everything I look up on the internet points at shin splints...but as stated, I'm not a runner and don't really do much hysical activity to cause this. Any ideas what it could be?

Walking regularly would probably improve the pain. Of course rub in cremes will help and a mild pain killer. But gentle exercise like the walking will help your body feel better.

shin splints. it happens when your calf muscles begin to pull away from the front of the shin bone (tibula?)
