I suppose it depends on the demand. Seems like a lot of them have a great supplu of STD's and AIDS. I would not think either would be in that high of a demand.

When you ask "why is a prostitute seen as doing something wrong?" you could also ask yourself who is looking at the prostitute and making this judgment. I have been very porr my whole life and I know many of my friends who, while certainly not in strong support of prostitution, they would not simply say that the woman is doing something "wrong". The people in my community know what it means to be utterly desperate and to have to do whatever it takes to survive.

I could write an essay or book here(I am a writer when I sit down long enough)...there are so many issues here...the politics of prostitution--on the one hand economic impoverishment, lack of education play a huge role in the existence of prostitution. Abuse. 80-90% of prostitutes come from very abusive childhoods...usually sexually abusive.
But I leave you with this rather philosophical question or point. When someone says that somebody is doing something "wrong" they usually also mean that they are doing something bad and so people who do "wrong" thingPs often are seen as "bad" people for doing "bad" acts. But wrong and bad are two different things. Oh...forget it...nuf said...just, if you are so willing, ponder on what the idea of wrong really means...is it the person who is wrong or just what they are doing?

Which type of prostitute?

Forced and abused prostituition is defitnite wrong.

Well willingness to have sex for money is not totally wrong but contradicts the teachings of traditional human values. It's a full time job that put food into the plates of some impoverised family though. I believed it contributes a little to some countries economy. Yeah you can say supply and demand. But I would rather say it is a survival skill which already existed centuries ago.

However it promotes unsave sexual encounter that leads to sexual transmitted diseases. I supposed this is how God regulating the prostutition industry by putting this as the threat for any potential candidates.

It is because of society's peculiar attitude towards sex. We can't make up our minds if it is a good thing or a bad thing. This actually refers specifically to men. Ever noticed how they spend half their lives trying to get someone into bed and then call them a "slapper" at the first opportunity?
So yes, it is a case of supply and demand. But unfortunately, it's a bit like toilet paper. Once used, you just throw it away - it has no value.

my view is that the only place of a prostitute is at prostutute university ! yes, there should be a prostutite UT. so that all the sex ignorant women learn to properly tend mens plaesures & not only put them out of Biz to to live a more sensuous life. most women think mens penis is the only sex organ in a man. roughly 80% of women do not understand that a mens testicles are almost just as sensitive a a womans breasts or clit. they think if they gentliy but firmly squesse a mans testicle they will break like a chicken egg. most woman over look foreplaying a man. its not a sin to suck a mans balls or stroke a mans penis a few times prior to penetaration . there is more to sex then just laying in bed a spreading your legs.

An adult who prostitutes is demeaning him or herself, but I don't think it should be considered a crime ( except in an ethical, moral sense against oneself) In a county in Nevada and in the Netherlands it it is legal, and the hookers get regular medical attention. I think exploitation of young people by pimps who feed them drugs to get them into the business should be totally against the law, but it can't always be proven. The sharks who exploit those not of legal age or normal mentality need to be locked up for life.

Never been with one. Never will. But that's just me, and I'm not everybody. As long as they don't push it like some religious nutcase ,leave them to get on with it. Some men are single, some are married. And if men are going to unfaithful, they'll do it anyway.

I'm sure in this city, I could find a dozen men who would like me to 'off' their wives, for money. Would that be acceptable free-market enterprise to you? If one of them was your mother?
