The question should be, "why aren't MORE women interested in science"?
I studied Science instead of Literature because science seems to be more worthwhile than reading and interpreting a bunch of stories, as fun as it may be.

Inculcate in Jewish families and culture is a thirst for knowledge and the religion itself encourages examination and discussion in a search for truth. Science is now predominate in modern life and Jewish women (and men) are searching for 'truth'. My very Jewish Israeli wife chose Philosophy and will eventually (when our 4 children are older) pursue her search in that field in a PhD program. Me? I is a engineer and don' know nutin else. Where were my Anglish perfessors?
