I would have to say the lay out of the front cover of the magazine... I buy Woman's World each & every week.. The lay out of the front cover is all ways eye catching to me.. On the cover of the sept 19,2006 cover was real eye catching to me B/C "7 breakthrough way to feel happier now!!" & " You can be a size slimmer by next week!! " + lots of other eye catching thing in the magazine..

The name of the magazine, if I've read it before and liked it, I generally buy them again. The design layout of the cover. Tipically bright colors draw me in. Of course the person on the cover does, too. Definitely headlines and sometimes the fonts.

This is slightly pathetic, but, without fail, I will buy a magazine, any magazine in fact, that has celebs looking dodgy on the front!! You know the ones.... 'CELEBS GAIN WEIGHT' and 'STARS WITHOUT MAKE-UP'!! As we are constantly being bombarded by images of celebrities looking perfect, pic's like these help to remind us that they are flawed just like the rest of us and these articles help to put things in perspective....and they make us instantly feel hotter!!

Waiting! Waiting in lines, waiting in offices, waiting at the airport, or having to do something that is totally boning causes me to buy a magazine.

I also like to read about healthy, but tasty recipes.
Throw in a celebrity interview to boot for a nice mix, and I'm buying it !

The price. I like the $1.99 magazines cause they are much better in my opinion than the $3.99 or more.

if i'm going on a trip - i usually get one good mag for the plane ride or to peruse while i'm waiting to board the plane, etc.. love travel mags and occasionally a good fashion zine is fun, but i also enjoy science, nature and a good wine magazine.

the articles, the gossip on my favorite celebs, the hairstyles, to see what trend is out next. not that i follow them but whatever keeps my interest after reading in the store first if it's good then i'll buy it. but then again i'll buy anything. i'm a sucker.
