No, not all 4.0 liter engines are six cylinders. Most are, but some of them have eight cylinders.

No, Oldsmobile had a 4.0 L V8 and some foreign luxury cars have 4.0L V8's as well. Ford has a 4.0L V6

i wouldnt be so sure..........there could be some small 8 cylinder motors with only 4 liters. but, 4.0 are mostly six.
