Have you ever tasted mouse? It tastes like cr@p!

Because mouse tastes just like chicken, and there is already chicken flavored cat food.

But, seriously, there are two reasons. First of all, market research shows that it wouldn't appeal to cat owners. Secondly, it would be difficult for cat food manufacturers to obtain a "mouse flavoring" ingredient, since mice are not generally available in the form of food products.

There are two good reasons. First, it would cost too much for all the cheese to trap the mice. The second mouse gets to eat all the cheese. Second, cats love to play with a mouse before eating it and playing with mouse-type cat food would get very messy.

I guess no one wants to taste a mouse to find out what they taste like. I guess they could just grind up alot of mice and can them. Then no one but the cats will have to taste. hummmm I thinks it's a great question and that you need to be the first to market it. I'd buy it for my cat if I had a cat

Bcoz tigers don't get deer-flavored foods. Whichever u consider, cats or tigers, they take interest in chasing & catching the prey 1st. of all. If there had any mice-flav. food 4 cats, then they wont enjoy the taste of chasing.

How do you know cat food isn't mouse-flavored?
Maybe they just don't advertise it.

Cats chase mice because they move. if it didnt move then they wouldnt chase it. we just asume they like certain foods, but like a dog they will probably eat anything that we would!

good question. i'm sure it would go over well with cats, but the owners might gag due to the awful smell.
