I'm not originally from Malaysia but had made it my home for the last 12 years.

This country practically doesn't sleep. Department store, especially in KL closes at 10pm. Restaurant closes at 10:30 but there are lots of stalls that stays open the whole night. You can eat your favorite Indian, malay or chinese food any time you want.

This place is a food haven. A lot of cuisines to chose from.

It is easy to get around KL, a lot of taxi, and there is an LRT system. It does break down once in a while.

You have to be carefull of some taxi drivers but most of them are okay.

It is basically a very peaceful country. There are some petty crimes which can be found anywhere.

The housing in the city is a bit expensive, where I live, the minimum price of a house is currently at RM235K, it is a single story terrace house. Food is not that expensive but it depends where you're eating. The people are generally friendly.

There's a lot of places to go to. An hour and a half from KL is Port Dickson, the nearest beach resort in KL. 45 minutes from KL, is Genting Highlands, it is a theme park style hotel with casino. People from Singapore normally flocked this place during public holidays. There's a lot of beaches and islands in Malaysia.

I enjoy living here and would continue to live here as long as its peaceful. Who knows what tomorrow would bring.

Well, its depends on where in Malaysia you wish to know of.

KL - considered as the city that never sleeps. it can be really on-the-go at times as it is the capital of Malaysia. yet, you can still find the city as warm as the weather and the people are as friendly as the city itself.

A place definitely worth visiting. The weather is warm. The food is very exotic and tasty. You can get Indian, Malay, Chinese, Thai and Western cusine. The shopping malls arents as sophisticated as the US, but it's amazing. The beaches are not very crowded and you can still collect shells. Plus, the stuff there are seriously cheap. Theres a lot of stuff there that can only be get there.

Its a land of warm weather, great food and generally good hospitality...I know we been ranked pretty low in some recent poll on courtesy or politeness, be lest be assured that Malaysian folk are friendly and peace-loving, and if everything else fails the food here is sure to pick you up!
