That is so sad. Such a bad decision.

I am going to live forever.

To answer your first question, no, the future is always uncertain, and always will be. And without truth, you will always fear it.

the truth is not what you make of it or want it to be. That is why people are so confused. It is something very precise and steadfast. It is what everything else, laws included, are derived from. If you do not grasp truth, you grasp nothing; you don't get it. You have no foundation from which to form your beliefs and base your decisions.

Even Plato had trouble with this one, and never answered the question fully to hiw own satisfaction.

To define and answer this question "What is truth?" and to define purpose and meaning, read the "Essay" from the links below, then read "Finding Truth."

Just to see how far from the truth the general is, read the short article called Supreme Law found on the Home Page here:

I believe that is possible to predict future events.

Some say that nothing predicts future behaviour like past events
...other more philosophical types could argue that the past, present and future all exist at the one time ...or that there is no 'future' only the now.

Certainties, other than death and taxes, include -

Getting older

Seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and finding out if it is really an oncoming train

Discovering if there is life afterdeath

Finding out whether or not there is a heaven and that, if there is, Christians r not the only ones there ...tho they might like to think so

That u will learn at least one new thing

That your priorities will change

Thousands of people will die today, tommorrow and the next day

Thousands of people will be born...

America will implode, shortly followed by Australia ...they jump, we jump

The sun will rise tomorrow

U will wake up or not

At least on child will draw a crap picture for their mum, a dog will fetch a stick, a husband won't buy his wife flowers

....and I predict that u will be reading this message...

....right now!

Geeze, I must be psychic :)

I would say, yes or no to your question. I don't know how old are you but Yes, if you kept on going to strike your goal and life will be like what you expect after you do it. But for the NO part, sometimes life doesn't go as naive as what you image... hahahah... I remembered one question threw by my human developement prof when I was a freshman "Can you imagine when You were 40 yrs old?" At that moment...my mind was totally blank till now I got my answers. In the same way, can you imagine yourself when you were 40, 60, 80 yrs old? From physical, psychological, career life, marriage life and your life...you really cannot 100% predict but keep on work your life out and that is it.

yes you can!but what you just said can not be considered as a prediction, there is a termination date for everything that exists. what you just said is a reality and a fact.there are various ways to be able to see into the future but the most common one is to be pure at heart and to remove yourself from worldly affairs.think only of thoughts that are beneficial to humanity. Most visionaires are asectics, they live flawless lives,a life without sin,a life dedicated to God,you will have to stop living for yourself if you must be a visionare. You need to be careful where you seek the power to see vision, you may be evil and see the future, what is you religion?you may need to study more the Holy scriptures to know what is involved.

Everyone will die some day.

When that is? I don't know.

If you were to live an after-life, the you wouldn't of known of your life before.

Perhaps we're recycable, after we're finished and done with we can be used as something else again.

Yes. Even after your death, the sun will still rise from the East and set in the West.

Except for death there is nothing certain. Various people have various stupid answers but they are all ridiculous. If we people accept this truth it is much more easy to live because Grace Hansen has well said that-
Don't be afraid your life will end, be afraid it will never begin.

Maybe.

Well, when I was a child I dreamed of my mother taken into an operation room. I dreamed it twice or three times. And, it became a reality. A few years later, my mother was diagnosed as cancer...

I wish it hadn't become a reality...

We all make our own future. Your born, then you work and pay taxes and then you die and you still pay taxes.

Taxes, Taxes, Taxes! Oh and after that you pay Taxes!

paying taxes, remember death and taxes are the only sure things in the universe, if you could predict the future you would know that, so I guess you can't.
