Wow, you're only just starting night sweats after 10 years?
Night sweats are hormonal imbalances that stop the body from heating and cooling properly.
It's very normal to get these but gee not that far down the path, well I don't think. Maybe you're just lucky to have got away with it for so long.
Have you been taking any medication and suddenly stopped?
Some people just put up with all the symptoms and take nothing and they are still healthy people just a little confused at times.

There are lots of strategies I could give you to help cope with night sweats, but what concerns me is the ten year gap. You don't say what age you are, but it seems to me if your hormone levels have been low enough to prevent menstruation for that long, that the other signs of menopause, such as night sweats and insomnia would have been present also.
Every woman is different though, you may quite possibly be a variant of normal. May be a nice reminder to go have a yearly checkup at the gynecologist, just to reassure yourself that everything is okay. He or she can look at your entire history, in addition to the findings on a physical exam and lab work to better assess if you are in the normal range or anything is amiss.
Think how much better and less anxious you will feel when the doctor gives you a thumbs up!

Ehm..
Hyperhidrosis, also known as polyhidrosis or sudorrhea means excessive sweating; sweating too much
The most active regions of perspiration include the hands, feet, armpits and the groin area because of a relatively high concentration of sweat glands in those areas.
There are two types of hyperhidrosis. Primary focal hyperhidrosis refers to overactive sweat glands that affect certain areas of the body, such as the hands, feet, face or underarms.
This form of hyperhidrosis can't be prevented and isn't contagious because it was probably inherited (although the condition may skip a generation). Secondary generalized hyperhidrosis is total body
sweating prompted by secondary medical conditions or medications.

Going through the second phase of womanhood myself.
Medical inquiries are best answered by a physician. You know for yourself, as a precautionary measurement, that testing may be required.

Medical science doesn't acknowledge spiritual reality. We
have such experiences when we sleep.
If only for the psychological value. Pray, or do some type of meditation that will help you feel more secure in your sleep.
Like lighting a candle and blessing your home.

This is often a sign of a systemic disease. See your doctor for a checkup.
