Little league teams do not play 149 game seasons. Records do not carry over from year to year. The maximum you can be in any league is 3 years before you have to move up to the next level.

at that age baseball it not about winning or losing it is about fun - of course they deserve pizza - and if you are the coach for the team with the 149 consecutive losses then you need to be replaced - own up and take responsibility for your teams losses

Little League is not really about winning, but having fun and turning kids at least into fans of the game. Gotta suck to lose 149 in a row but they're just kids, pizza it is!

As a coach who refers to his team as "friggin' losers," maybe you should find something else to do with your time. Instead of pizza, I'd rather have a different coach. If you insist on staying, maybe you could take the time to learn how to be a coach instead of a dictator. You obviously don't know what you're doing.

Are you kidding me? You are going to deny your kids because you suck at coaching? That isn't right at all. Kids don't make 149 losses, coaches do. Read a coaching book or something.

149 consecutive losses could ONLY be the coaches fault.

It sounds like the coach needs instructions on coaching and yeah the team should always be rewarded and also someone should get a game ball too regardless of who wins.

NO. They need practice. Do not give them pizza, yell at them and get in their face. After 149 consecutive loses they should be ashamed of themselves. Punish them, they havent worked hard enough for pizza.

YES.... It shouldn't be about winning or losing at the little league level but about playing hard and learning the game.

Yes, they do deserve pizza. And judging from your attitude, they deserve a better coach as well.
