In fact, to my knowledge, Bobby Labonte is the only driver to have both a Busch Series and a Winston Cup Series championship.

Dont think so. I mean I think their should be a limit on how many cup drivers can compete in the Busch series and I know they want the practice but then the rookies dont have chances at winning and making it to cup. Their is hardly anyone in the Busch series to take the places of really good drivers and their isn't going to be a lot of good drivers unless cup guys dont race as many Busch races.

No it has not happened...there are some drivers that have won both championships but not both in the same year. Kevin Harvick would be the first if he can pull it off this year.

the only thing that i casn think of that comes close to that is
dale earnhardt won the rookie of the year 1 year and cup champ the next
he is the only driver to do so
