Australia batting first was all out for 244 runs in 49.2 overs. When India started batting, rain stopped play when 5 overs were bowled when India was 16 runs for no loss. After the play was resumed again match was stopped after 8 overs. That time India was 35 runs for 5 wickets. Since no further play was possible, match was abandoned and both teams were awarded 2 points each
