What hurricane threats? I live in Florida and (knock on wood) we haven't had any threats at all. Please provide more information so I can answer your question.

The price goes up only when hurricanes threaten the Gulf. Since the hurricane forecast has been downgraded, no one expects any large hurricane or direct hit in the gulf this year, and they've found vast quantities of oil in the gulf, so people aren't afraid of prices going up and supplies going down.

What's converting to Christianity got to do with hurricanes and the price of oil?

The only hurricane lowering the price of gas is called...

Election Time!!

Do you think the oil companies and their republican cohorts want to add gas to the flame against them- no pun intended.

No. And since Bush has been in the white house, gas prices are higher than they ever were before......in spite of all of his friends in Iran. (love your picture, though. I do have a sense of humor)
