This is going to sound outrageous because you have been conditioned to believe otherwise, but smoking is not actually bad for you the way it's portrayed by the propaganda-mongers of society. If you are willing, with an open mind, to research this, you will see that I am right (or at least have some doubts about smoking being bad). If you're having problems with feeling your best, it could be the processed foods you eat. The best way to go is to eat a natural diet of meat, veggies, fruits, cheese, and smoke and exercise. At least look at the link (and all their great articles) before you decide I'm a nutcase! This information has changed my life. People in countries such as Greece and Spain who eat as I have described and smoke like crazy do not die of lung cancer and other cancers the way we do in the USA or England. The link to these cancers is in the environment and in the poor food choices we make (and our sedentary lifestyles).

If you want to do it...you must reprogram your mind to release the addiction to the habit, not to the nicotine. The withdrawls from nicotine is over in days...the habit is what keeps you smoking. When you get the urge to light up, stop yourself and think of all the different reasons why you want to quit...write them down and have that list handy if it helps (seeing the written word helps deprogram more quickly)...read them out loud to yourself. Get up and do something else instead of lighting up. Also, when you get that urge, wait 10 minutes...you'll notice that the urge will pass. The mind is a very powerful thing, much like a computer, and you need to override the program of "smoking"...delete it from your mental hard drive! It can be done...you must WANT to do it and you must WANT to succeed in order to conquer it. Best of luck to you!!

Try this, every moment you want to smoke, hold the cigarette without lightning it.. and act as you are smoking.. cause it is a habit more than addicted. then try to decrease the quantity of your smoking cigarettes step by step by lighting "may be" one or two per day.
Please let me know if it useful..

come to the realization that it's a mental addiction. become smarter than the cigarette. pretty easy really. smokers claim a physical addiction, not buying it. there's no way that wispy lil trail of smoke possesses the capacity to alter your physiognomy. put them down.

You smoke because the action of sucking on something gives you pleasure. Visit a gay bar, go home with a guy and suck him off instead of smoking. oral sex is actually good for you, releases endorphins in the brain that stimulate good health. Smoking just releases toxins into your bloodstream.

well, i got my tongue pierced on tuesday and am too scared to have a cigg. so i haven't had one since then!!!!
Its just a matter of willpower. When you do feel like one, go and do something else, like have a snack or a drink or keep your mind occupied.
