Look around your home and anything that can be bought again leave behind sell, personal things that are either gifts given pictures keep, clothes yes but not ones you have never worn in a year, minimise! Don'y take anything that will remind you of whatever it is that made you leave in the first place! Good luck mate!

! suitcase full of clothes. Your personal hygiene things from the bathroom. Pack your computer and stereo equipment in the trunk of your car and put sheets, towles and blankets around them to protect them. In the back seat put anything you want to keep to start over with, like boxes of dishes and CD's and shoes. In your front seat take your pet and a food and water dish...always take your pet with you

Take anything that can't be replaced like family items. Take anything like important papers, family photos. Take your best clothes since you will be either working or looking for work. And anything with your personal information on it bank, SS, anything that the other person can use to hurt you or hunt you down.

Take at least one houseplant (if you have one). They have the tendency to make your new house feel like a home.
