Music has lost its taste nowadays and a lot of untalented musicians are coming into the music scene and are appreciated for some stupid reason.
In other words stick to listening to old stuff..the real deal..I listen to 70's punk,80's metal and anything 90's because to me that's the best music.

You got older. Yes that is the reason, you got older. It happens to every generation. I thought the new music in the 50s was terrible and now I know it was not so bad at all because what is being played now really is horrible. Look at the youngsters and you will see they like it and in a few years the new stuff will be really bad to them. I don't see how it could ever get any worse but then I thought that in the 60s so I am sure it will finally hit the bottom of what could possibly be called music.

heh- I'd totally agree, but I hate to tell you -but this just proves it's all about perception. Cause *I* said the very same thing during most of the 90s.
With the excpetion of some great hip hop in the early 90s, & the grunge thing, the rest of the 90s, IMO was crap.
The SPICE Girls??, Ace of Base?? The rise of boybands, like, Backstreet boys, nsync etc... yikes.

Music is alive and well, thank you. It's the Music Business that gets sicker and sicker! You have to go underground. Go to live concerts. Listen to University run radio stations. Browse the Internet for alternative radio or podcastor. Otherwise you'll hear formula music (supposed to be guaranteed to make money)

Sorry dude. Music hasn't changed much, you've just gotten old. Unfortunetly new music has always been geared towards the younger generation. I thought the music of the mid 90's was crap so that just shows my age too.

I have to agree, the music is terrible. I only listen to Classic Rock, now that is music.

Just like in a Stephen King novel, the world has moved on, apparently you let it pass you by. No offense.

I do so miss the 70s.
