The most beautiful town in the world i have seen is called Cesky Krumlov. Its in the south of the Czech republic built as a present for a daughter by a king. Its like a magical fairy tale place with a huge castle and small town painted and decorated. nYou can see pictures here

this time last year i would have said the top of the sierra nevada range as i stood at the summit of mt whitney california. it was breath taking.
today i would have to say the south island of new zealand. i could not believe there is a place that you can hike through a rain forrest so thick with ferns, plants and trees, break through then walk right up to the terminal face of a live mountain glacier. it was awwwwwwwwwwwsome!!!
now, this time next month i may change that answer because thursday morning i fly to ireland for a week of hiking and biking. i will have to get back to you on that.
i hope my adventures have been helpful to you. Good question, thanks for asking. Tony
